Imagine your child staying in air-conditioned team bunkhouses, trading pins with players from across the country, and taking the field in a national tournament set in the beautiful hills of upstate New York. From MLB ambassador appearances and Hall of Fame visits to pin trading under the lights, CASV is more than a tournament—it’s a memory-making week they’ll talk about forever.
But not every player has a team attending. Some teams cancel. Some kids aren’t selected. Others just don’t have a roster spot.

We’ve made it simple and stress-free to give your child the Cooperstown experience—even without a team. Here’s how to secure their spot:

Once we receive enough interest to form a complete team, we’ll notify all families by email with the next steps.
Once registration opens, you’ll receive a link to officially claim your player’s roster spot.
✅ A $200 deposit is required to reserve their place
✅ All players MUST pitch to ensure balanced team roles
✅ During sign-up, you’ll select your player’s primary position and list any secondary positions they’re comfortable playing—this helps us build a flexible, well-rounded roster
✅ Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis—no tryouts or approvals
Since the event is quickly approaching, our focus is on building a complete, committed team—not assembling an all-star roster. We’ll absolutely compete and play hard, but our top priority is giving players the opportunity to experience CASV, enjoy equal playing time, and make unforgettable memories.
Once the roster is full, we’ll send out:
✅ A balance invoice (due promptly to meet CASV payment deadlines)
✅ Full itinerary, player packing list, and coach details

We’ll make sure you have everything you need for a smooth, exciting, and unforgettable Cooperstown week.
Due to the high cost and advance commitments required for Cooperstown All Star Village, all payments are non-refundable once your player is accepted and registered for the team.
Guest Player Connect must submit payment to CASV months in advance and commits to uniform production, coaching fees, lodging, meals, and administrative costs based on your registration. For this reason:

What is Guest Player Connect?
Guest Player Connect gives youth baseball players the opportunity to join competitive guest player teams for tournaments—even if their regular team isn’t attending. It’s perfect for added reps, skill growth, and unforgettable experiences like Cooperstown.
What makes GPC different?
We focus on equal playing time, player development, and a fun, safe environment. Our coaches are paid professionals—not parents—ensuring fairness, structure, and a team-first approach.
🏨 Where do players and coaches stay?
Players and coaches stay together in on-site, air-conditioned dorm-style bunkhouses at CASV. Lodging and meals are fully covered for players and coaches.
Parents are responsible for their own lodging and should book early—local hotels and rentals fill up fast.
🍽️ Are meals provided for the players?
Yes. CASV provides three meals daily, beginning the first full day of the event and served in the on-campus dining facility.
🎒 What should my player bring?
A detailed packing list will be provided. Essentials include:
White baseball pants (navy or red belt recommended)
Glove, bat, cleats, helmet, athletic cup
Bedding, towels, toiletries, and casual clothes

CASV provides all uniform gear except pants and belt, including:

🧑🏫 Who are the coaches?
Our coaches are seasoned professionals with high school, college, professional, or elite travel ball experience. They are background-checked and selected for their player-first mindset and leadership. Coaches live in the dorms with players and lead all activities on and off the field.
💬 How do parents stay informed?
We set up a private GameChanger group for your team before the event. You’ll get real-time updates, schedules, communication from GPC staff, and space for optional parent coordination (e.g., carpools, hotel sharing, or fundraising).
💰 What’s the payment policy?
Due to CASV’s early payment deadlines, a full payment is required.
A $200 deposit is due upon registration
Remaining balance must be paid in full shortly after
GPC must submit payment to CASV well in advance and finalize costs for housing, meals, coaches, and logistics. Prompt payment helps us ensure the best experience for your player.
